Newborn Lifestyle Session Texoma Newborn Photographer

I love babies! Especially brand new teeny tiny ones! They're so little and precious. They smell wonderful! I get baby fever every time I'm around them which makes my husband nervous every time I say I have newborn session! LoL Over the years I've discovered my favorite way to photograph newborn babies and their families is not with lots of props or multiple backdrops but rather in their home just as they are. I wish I would've scheduled a session like this when my oldest was born. It's laid back and baby is comfortable because that's what he or she is used to. I feel like Mom and Dad are more comfortable as well b/c they're not having to leave the house with their infant. That can be a nerve wracking thing, especially with your first! I remember our first outing with Elijah when he was 5 days old. I began to cry and told Chris, "Okay, lets go home!" Elijah was totally fine. I was the emotional one! LoL Here is a session I shot for our dear friends Randy and Kaley. I shot their maternity session and when baby William arrived they asked me to come and take his newborn photos. I love that we were even able to include their fur baby who looked bummed he wasn't getting any cuddles. That's not something you'll get in the studio. Natural environment, natural light, natural moments. That's where it's at! If you're expecting your own little one please take a look at this gallery and consider scheduling your own in home lifestyle session. -Lindsay
